The teacher, presumably, has many roles to play inside the classroom. And, from all these roles, we can say that the teacher should put the students in the context. That is, he or she needs to direct students for performing their works- such as, the students, the learners, could work individually or collaboratively in the classroom.
It is of great important for the teachers, first of all, to understand completely their students and, to some extent, how to lead them to be involved in their work. Generally enough, it depends on the kind of an activity; for instance, if the teacher wants to teach speaking or listening, he should encourage them to speak . It means that the teacher will divide the students and put them into groups. And, obviously, the students will interact and involve in the learning process. In order to lead the students interact with each other, the teacher must help them to speak fluently and effectively. As it is widely known, the students feel more interested when they are engaged in practicing the language together.
Based on this assumption, it is of paramount importance to work in groups, peer work, and choral work; to think, pair- and share. The learners need to exchange information and to learn new things in order to develop, to enhance their skills, and take rich knowledge. Heuristically, the students must work in groups, and the teacher helps the students to work cooperatively and to be engaged in the learning process.
To sum up, the students need to work in groups or to interact with each other to be fully- incorporated with the Learning process and to gain more knowledge.
