Three pre- writing activities.

It is of paramount importance  for the teachers  to ask students to use brainstorming. Viewed in this way, they will gather information about a particular topic and, as it seems, if they did not know- for example, how to write a letter , it would be helpful to show or to bring a model text which contains a letter. That is, they will be able to know clearly which components does the letter contain. Being so, when students know what the teacher is exactly talking about, they will use this brief activity which is called brainstorming and, then, he needs to ask them multiple questions about the topic.

Second, in the same line with this, during pre- writing, the teacher will show to his/ her students a model text about this topic- for example, it is worth showing them a letter about the same topic but, as the question suggests, they need to write their own letter. Based on this assumption, they will take a look at this old example of a certain topic; obviously, an article which talks about a celebration which a student attended. That is to say, they will understand which component it contains. And, the students will answer the following questions- for instance, who is talking in the article? How how was his or her celebration? ect.

Third, the last activity which the teacher will use with the students is outlining. In this activity, it is preferable to ask the students about the characteristics which the article contains; for example, the introduction contains many characteristics, the body and conclusion. At the same time, the teacher will ask the students to know what all characteristics are in the letter because they must know effectively what it contains in order to make it easier for them to write in the second stage, while writing. All the way throughout, it is necessary for  the teacher to show them and to teach them all the components per se, to be able to write in the second stage.
