To be a successful teacher of English, a person need to have many characteristics and principles. First of all, to have a good command of the language, it is not enough to be a success-ful teacher. It entails to have many characteristics- such as, the way in which the teacher delivers this language to his or her students and the way the teacher uses in order to link the language with activities ; obviously, the students need just to understand clearly what the teacher is saying but this requires the teacher to coexist his or her language with the material or knowledge with the particular method, approach or technique which all will be used in the class-room. Viewed in this way, it is worth creating a safe and a suitable environment for students where they can learn, a formal study of rule, and grow. As a final word, if the teacher can congruence his or her language with all what mentioned earlier, it needs to have a good command of the language in order to be a successful teacher of English.
