The students have to understand that they need not to focus heavily on translating what they want to say in foreign language from their mother tongue in learning the new language. It means that the teacher is just killing in the students the seeds of curiosity that are instinctively enriched with the eagerness and keenness to master the new language in its natural setting. Moreover, while translation in foreign language teaching has shown its deficiency in the past, the current level of students in language learning caused by translation speaks for itself.
As a result, all those teachers and leaders who support translation in any way would need to be very cautious and prudent about how to approach it in teaching because translation in the arena of foreign language teaching remains a tricky business that cannot be relied on as a technique of teaching when dealing with foreign language learning notably with beginner learners who couldn't wait to listen and speak the new language in its natural setting.
In the same line, any foreign language teacher who takes translation as a path to teach, will be tempted to use it at any language obstacle giving the wrong message to the students about language learning. The habit of translation will usually start very small in which the teacher will feel comfortable till it fosters all the students, and it will becomes a habit for them.
