It is a doubly important to know that the ability to read is a simple process that teachers can follow to use PBL with students in their classroom. In lesson one, after greeting students, teacher can invite and encourage students to suggest all issues that bother them either in school or in their community. It will be advisable if teacher can guide students to evoke issues that affect them directly. To avoid any language barrier, teacher can allow students to mention the issue in their first language if necessary. It is a pretty easy to know that teachers have to be prepared to convert it to the target language. More importantly, this is a good way to enrich students language. Each student is assigned to share a unique issue so if the classroom has 40 students, there should be around 40 issues.
Through naming and identifying these issues, students have a general idea about what bother the majority of youngsters their age in the real world. Most likely, the way to embark learners in the world of active learning through problem solving where learners are given the opportunity to pinpoint, study and dissect real world issues where practical solutions can be suggested and applied.
